What is this blog?
I've been digital scrapbooking for about 7 years. In that time, I've seen tons of digital scrapbooking trends come and go (AC Puffy felt and Clementine Sketch anyone?). My style has changed, from minimal to piled full of elements to my current balance of elements and minimalism. I've also started and not finished numerous projects, like my ABC album that's only scrapped to the letter E or my All About Me at 29 album that is currently unfinished....and I'm halfway to 33!
The purpose of this blog is to chronicle my various scrap projects and talk about what products and ideas and trends I'm using. Currently, I'm very into the pocket style of scrapping, but given my history, I make no promises that this will always be a pocket scrapping blog!
What kinds of things do I scrap about?
I live in a smallish town in Ohio with my husband, our two daughters and our dog and cat. I consider myself a "memory keeper" and most of my scrapbooking is related to capturing little things to create a scrapbook album my daughters will love to look at as adults. (Whether that actually happens or not is out of my control, lol!!) You won't find a lot of introspective or emotional pages here, but you will find lots of inspiration for everyday scrapping!
What is my scrap story?
I found digital scrap booking in 2007 after wanting to learn how to make signatures I saw in a parenting forum. I went from siggie making to scrapbook kit making before learning that my real love is scrapping about my family. I have never paper scrapped, although sometimes I think hybrid might be fun!
Some of the products showcased on this blog I was given for free to promote. Most of them, I have purchased myself and just love a whole lot and want to share!
